Learn more about Bocada Cloud's ticketing integrations
Bocada Cloud can automatically open and update a ticket in your ticketing system when a backup job or data collection fails. It can also auto-close those open tickets when the backup or data collection succeeds on a later attempt. This is designed to integrate into your existing operational workflow.
Bocada Cloud supports multiple integrations with ticketing systems, including Service Now, Jira, HaloPSA, Autotask and ConnectWise.
Once you add an integration to your ticketing system, you will be asked to set up a "Ticket Trigger" to configure when a ticket should be created (e.g. when a backup job fails on its third attempt) for one or all Organizations, and one or all Connections. Tickets can also be opened if a Bocada Cloud data collection fails for one or more Connections.
When a ticket is created, it will be updated automatically if additional failures occur on the same resource (instead of creating new tickets for each failure).
Optionally, you can choose to have Bocada Cloud automatically close a ticket it has opened if a backup or data collection succeeds on a later attempt after previously failing.
If your ticketing system is not currently supported by Bocada Cloud, you can use "email to ticket" by leveraging the Custom Email Notifications feature and configuring it to send to an email address associated with your ticketing system or support inbox.
If you have issues or questions related to integrating with your ticketing system, create a Support Ticket in Bocada Cloud, or contact us.
