How do I get the AWS IAM User credentials to collect data from an N2WS Instance?

Once you have configured an N2WS API authentication key, you will need to enter AWS IAM User credentials to connect Bocada Cloud with N2WS.

Configuring an API authentication key requires two primary steps:

  1. Log into the AWS Account where the N2WS EC2 instance is deployed.
  2. Identify the IAM Role Policy assigned to the EC2 instance.
  3. Capture the Access Key ID and Secret Key for an IAM user with the same policy assigned.

Identify the IAM Role for the N2WS Instance 

Log into the AWS Account where the N2WS instance is deployed and locate the instance in EC2:

Identify the Policy assigned to the IAM Role

Click the IAM Role above to view the Policies associated with it:

Locate or Create an IAM User

Click through the IAM Policies to identify the Entities attached:

Navigate to the User directly or through the User Group. From there you can create an access or locate any previously created Access keys you have stored
