When a backup data collection fails, an alert will be sent to the user who added the Connection and an alert will show on the dashboard for failed data collection.
You can attempt to re-run the data collection by clicking on the ‘run’ icon on the right-hand side of any Connection to manually run the data collection. Once the data collection has been successfully run, Bocada Cloud will present the most recent data to you in the Dashboards and Reports.
Bocada will work to resolve the issue if possible. If the issue is resolved without user intervention, a subsequent collection will run and, if successful, the alert will be dismissed and the user will be notified.
If you are notified of a failed data collection, you should investigate the errors and update any connection settings as directed. If you are unable to resolve the issues, you can open a ticket with Bocada through the “Create Ticket” menu item in the left navigation.
