You will create a connection in Bocada Cloud to one or more backup application(s) you use to back up your data such as Veeam, AWS, Azure or Cohesity. A connection will enable you to monitor and report on backup activity in Bocada Cloud. Backup applications are provided by third-party vendors who each use their own terminology to describe how data backups are set up and managed within their systems. Therefore, we use the generic term “connector” or “connection” to describe the linked association between Bocada Cloud and the backup applications you use (as well as potentially to multiple servers/accounts/tenants within a backup application vendor’s system).
