How do I connect to a CMDB inventory data source?

Learn how to connect Bocada Cloud to your CMDB inventory to report on all protected and unprotected resources

The Bocada Cloud Inventory CMDB (Configuration Management Database) connector collects asset data from a variety of different inventory sources. By adding your asset inventory to Bocada Cloud, you can take advantage of Unprotected Resource Audit reporting.

The CMDB connector has built-in support for ServiceNow (REST API), Microsoft SQL Server, and CSV file upload from the file system or HTTP. Connections to additional databases and data sources can also be configured using a custom method via an ODBC driver, however it is often simpler to export the desired data set to CSV for ingestion using that standardized method.
