Bocada Cloud does not treat alerts and notifications differently. We provide alert/notification messaging to users in both the application interface and through email.
Alerts are generally used to refer to something the user should take action on (for example, a data backup or data collection failure).
On the main Home page Dashboard, there is an Alerts Summary widget in the center of the screen to quickly and easily see these alerts.
Notifications are used to refer to something the user should know about but may not need to take immediate action on (for example, data collection for a new backup application connection is complete, or a Bocada-sent notification about an update to the Bocada Cloud application).
Notifications and Alerts can be viewed (as well as dismissed once read), by clicking the Bell icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
