How does the AI Agent work?

Bocada Cloud's AI Agent provides an easy, innovative way to learn about your data and activity, or how to use the product more effectively. You can enter natural language questions - in any language - to help you get the information you need quickly. 

Who can use the AI Agent?

The AI Agent is currently available to customers subscribed to the Ultimate plan, as well as new customers conducting their 30-day free trial of Bocada Cloud. 

What can the AI Agent do? What data can it access?

The AI Agent can answer questions about the data collected in Bocada Cloud through the connections you've set up to your backup, inventory and/or storage systems. 

Example questions to ask:

  • List the resources that have Full backup failures in the past 24 hours
  • What does this backup failure error message mean? <copy and paste error message>
  • Show me all resources without a successful backup in the past week
  • Which connection is consistently having the most data collection failures?

The AI Agent also has access to the entire Bocada Cloud Knowledge Base of articles about how to use the product. Example questions to ask:

  • How do I configure a connection to Veeam Backup & Replication on a PostgreSQL database?
  • Does Bocada Cloud support Linux?
  • How can I identify resources that aren't being backed up?
  • Can I see if a backup job is hung up and taking too long to complete?

The AI Agent also respects user role access and will only display data to a user that they have been granted permission to see. If a user only has been granted access to one Organization's data, then results from the AI Agent will only include data associated with that Organization. 

What can't the AI Agent do?

The AI Agent does not have access to account information so it cannot answer questions about Users or Organizations in your Bocada Cloud account, billing or payment information.

Additionally, the AI Agent cannot answer questions about secure information used to configure connections (e.g. API settings, secrets or passwords). 

At this time, the AI Agent is not able to take actions in Bocada Cloud, such as configuring a report for you or setting up an email notification. It can tell you the steps to perform that action yourself, but cannot do it on your behalf. 

What languages does the AI Agent support?

You can ask the AI Agent questions in your native language and it will answer you in that language, from Dutch to Italian to Portuguese, as well as languages using different characters such as Japanese, Chinese and Russian.
